INTRODUCTION

Founded in 1892, the University of East London (UEL)  is one of the most modern public universities in the United Kingdom. It is located just off central London to the east, not too far from one of the world's largest financial centers - Canary Wharf and the Olympic Park.

In 2007, the University of East London was ranked as No. 1 institution for investment in facilities and equipment for students by The Times University Guide. Currently, the school has over 28,000 students, including nearly 2,000 international students from more than 100 countries around the world who are studying English, Undergraduate, Master and PhD programs.

The University of East London ranks among the top 10 universities in the UK in the fields of Communications, Psychology, Sports, Surgery, Physiotherapy, and especially Law, which is widely recognized for high quality teaching technique and researching methods. In addition, the school also has strong specialties in Financial Management, Accounting, Engineering, Architecture, Computer skills which have been approved by many British students and international student.

Finance and Accounting program

The University of East London (UEL) training program is guaranteed and accredited by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) of England in 2010. In 2006, International School – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-IS) and University of East London signed an agreement of alliance training program for Bachelor of Accounting and Finance. The faculty of International School has launched a training program in Vietnam following the model of one year junior college, and three years specialized university. Students can be transferred to continue studying and complete a degree in the United Kingdom if they meet the English proficiency and requirements of UEL. After graduation, students will receive a Bachelor’s degree of Finance and Accounting awarded by University of East London. So far, there has been 162 students successfully graduated from this program.
